Age & Identity Verification Policy

1. Eligibility
1.1. The Platform is exclusively for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
1.2. By registering, you represent, warrant, and affirm under penalty of perjury that you are at least 18 years of age.
1.3. Any misrepresentation of age constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service and will result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, without refund.
1.4. Where required by local law, higher minimum age requirements (e.g., 19 or 21 in certain jurisdictions) shall apply.
2. Age Verification Measures
2.1. All users must provide their full and accurate date of birth during registration.
2.2. Prominent warnings are displayed throughout the registration process confirming that the Platform is for 18+ only.
2.3. The Platform reserves the absolute right to require additional verification where:
- A user is suspected of being underage;
- A complaint or credible report is received;
- Fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is detected;
- Local law or regulation requires stricter verification.
3. Identity Verification (Optional and Conditional)
3.1. The Platform offers an optional paid identity verification service that allows users to display a “Verified Member” badge to enhance credibility and trust.
3.2. The Platform may, at its discretion, mandate verification for specific users or regions where legally required.
3.3. Verification may include:
- Submission of a valid government-issued photo identification (passport, driver’s license, or national ID card);
- A real-time facial capture (selfie) for biometric comparison;
- Cross-checks with third-party databases or verification services.
3.4. Verification is processed by an independent third-party provider specializing in global compliance and secure identity authentication.
3.5. A non-refundable processing fee may apply. The amount will be disclosed before verification begins.
3.6. Verification badges remain valid unless revoked for fraud, policy violations, or legal requirements.
4. Data Protection & Security
4.1. Verification data is processed solely for the purpose of confirming user age and identity.
4.2. The Platform does not permanently retain raw identity documents longer than necessary to complete verification, unless required by law or fraud-prevention obligations.
4.3. All verification data is secured using industry-standard encryption (minimum AES-256).
4.4. Access is strictly limited to authorized personnel and/or third-party providers under binding confidentiality agreements.
4.5. Processing of personal data complies with:
- General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (European Union)
- California Consumer Privacy Act / California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) (United States)
- Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) (Brazil)
- Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) (Singapore, Philippines, and other jurisdictions)
- Any other applicable regional privacy and consumer protection laws.
4.6. Users may request deletion of their verification data, subject to retention obligations required by law or for fraud prevention.
5. Consequences of Refusal or Failure
5.1. Users who fail, refuse, or are unable to verify their identity when reasonably required may have their accounts restricted, suspended, or permanently terminated without refund.
5.2. Submitting forged, altered, or stolen documents constitutes fraud and may result in:
- Permanent termination of account;
- Blacklisting from the Platform;
- Referral to law enforcement authorities where applicable.
6. Legal Disclaimers
6.1. The Platform exercises reasonable measures to prevent underage access and fraudulent accounts but cannot guarantee that all users truthfully represent their age or identity.
6.2. Identity verification enhances trust and safety but does not eliminate risks associated with online or offline interactions.
6.3. The Platform expressly disclaims liability for damages, claims, or losses arising from:
- A user’s misrepresentation of age or identity;
- User conduct, whether online or in-person meetings;
- The failure of a user to complete or maintain verification.
6.4. Maximum liability of the Platform is limited as defined in the Terms of Service.
7. Governing Law & Cross-Border Application
7.1. This Policy is intended to comply with international standards and shall be enforceable worldwide.
7.2. In the event of conflict between this Policy and local law, the stricter standard shall apply.
7.3. Disputes arising from this Policy shall be resolved under the Jurisdiction & Dispute Resolution Terms of the Platform.
8. Updates to This Policy
8.1. The Platform reserves the right to update or amend this Policy at any time to reflect changes in technology, business practices, or applicable laws.
8.2. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use of the Platform after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
