These rules help keep FilipinaMatchmaker safe, respectful, and fun for everyone.
Be respectful
- No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, or shaming.
- Debate ideas, not people.
Keep it real
- No catfishing, impersonation, or fake profiles.
- Use recent photos that show the real you.
Safe & legal content
- No nudity, explicit sexual content, or illegal activity.
- Escorting, sexual solicitation, or promotion of paid “companionship” services is not allowed.
Privacy & safety
- Don’t share private info (yours or others’).
- Never ask for or send passwords, bank details, or money.
- Always get consent before sharing someone else’s photo, message, or personal details.
Messaging
- No spam, scams, mass DMs, or copy-paste pickup lines.
- Be polite. If someone says “no,” stop messaging.
Photos
- Use clear, well-lit photos that represent you.
- No violent, offensive, or fake images.
Language
- All communication (profiles, posts, messages, and emails) should be in English.
- Your English doesn’t have to be perfect — just clear enough to be understood.
- This ensures fair communication between members and helps moderators review reports quickly.
Reporting & moderation
- Use Report on profiles or posts that break the rules.
- 3–5 independent reports may auto-unpublish content while moderators review.
- Repeated violations can lead to suspension or permanent removal.
- Abusing the reporting system may also result in account action.
Safety tips
- Meet in public places, tell a friend where you’re going, and trust your instincts.
- Report suspicious behavior using the in-app tools.
